BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling, BACP Registered Member

I am a qualified Counsellor based in Littlehampton.

I'm here to help you free yourself from being weighed down with feelings of negativity and hopelessness so that you can get on and enjoy your life. To do this, you need to be comfortable with working with me and my flexible approach means that I am able to work either face to face, walking outside, or online.

I offer 30 or 50 minute sessions at a day and time to suit you.

ABOUT ME

I have first-hand experience of bringing up children as a single parent, the difficult/troubled teenager stage, and then the fleeing of the nest. I can help you to navigate your journey through any of these stages, either as a young person, or a parent. I would be happy to mentor you if you would prefer a more proactive approach and I have experience of mentoring young people up to the age of 18.

I have 14 years professional experience through my work in alternative provision settings, a drop in centre for young people up to 25, and in my current setting working more therapeutically with 11 to 18 year olds.

I am experienced in counselling ages 16 and upwards, particularly in the following areas, although I am qualified to work with any issue that may present itself.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
If this is your first time seeking help, you may feel unsure about how to go about it. Now that you have learnt a little about me and what I offer, the next step is to get in touch either by phone, email, or by completing the 'Schedule a Session' form on this website. You can ask any questions you may have during a free 15 minute session, or we can go straight into arranging your first session at a time and day that suits us both. At our first meeting, we will discover whether we feel we could work together. It is important that we both feel comfortable with each other. We will look at what it is that you would like help with, and if you are happy, we will arrange future sessions. We can decide whether you would like weekly or fortnightly sessions.
